In their new program MINUIT À SAINT TROPEZ (together with violinist Julia Czerniawska), Subsystem dive into the world of French Jazz & Swing – from Django Reinhardt to Boris Vian. The resulting music is a surrealistic collage, Faux Latin grooves mixed with noise improvisations and chamber music miniatures, a multicultural melting pot between Paris, New York and Berlin.
A first successful performance of the project with Fabiana Striffler on violin took place in June 2023 as part of Berlin’s concert series “Encore!!! Django Reinhardt and French Jazz”, supported by the Berlin Senate.
